I can never thank you enough for your support of our program. I am grateful daily for each of you and the opportunity to be a part of the lives of these future leaders of our community.

Unfortunately, I have to start this week's communication with some unconfirmed information.
FRIDAY MATCH - We do not know our opponent for JV and Varsity on Friday. Once it is confirmed, we will communicate. The goal is to have a plan by practice tomorrow. Our administration has been on the phone today working out some details.
C TEAM - We do not know your actual schedule beyond the times are 9:00, 10:15, and 11:30. Once we have the details, we will share. There are three teams at the tournament and you are scheduled to play two matches with three sets guaranteed.
WEEK OF 9/11
Setup starts daily as soon as school is over. The goal would be to have all three courts setup, your journal, and position preparation complete by 3:50 pm.
Responsibilities for the week:
Sophomores with Logan providing leadership: Floors - We will plan to wash the towels on Friday this week.
Freshmen with Rhyan and Tiyala providing leadership: Training aids and Nets - scoreboard, cones, speaker, boxes, pool noodles, and other items as they are added this week.
Update - Putting things away after practice is a concern. Please make sure we have a plan for this week.
Juniors with Emily providing leadership: Balls and carts (assist with nets) - six carts - two on each court. SCHEDULE
Our schedule for the week:
Monday - 4:00-6:30 pm - Practice - Setup starts between 2:50-3:20 pm
Tuesday - GAME DAY - JV and Varsity compete against Montrose. We will request early release at 1:47 pm. Bus will leave at 2:15 pm. Athletes will text when we get to GJ so you can meet us at the school. Reminder, the athletes are encouraged to ride home as a team.
C TEAM - Day off - Please work on your homework, assignments, and projects. A great day to work ahead.
Wednesday - 4:00-6:30 pm - Practice - Setup starts between 3:15-3:30 pm.
Thursday - 4:00-6:30 pm - Practice - Setup starts between 3:15-3:30 pm.
Friday - GAME DAY - Estimated time to leave is 10:00 am. More details to come.
PLEASE NOTE - There is a conflict over the game on Friday. We are working through the issue and will communicate as soon as we have a solution.
Saturday - GAME DAY - JV at 10:00 am and Varsity at 11:00 am at DURANGO.
GAME DAY - C TEAM is at Montrose. We have not received an actual schedule with teams. The times provided are 9:00, 10:15, and 11:30. All matches will be three sets no matter what. Once we have finalized information, we will provide it.
FUNDRAISING
We are almost set with what our fundraiser will be. We have been working with the district admin for approval.
